ABRSM大綱樂曲是根據作品時期以及演奏的特點來分組。
A組：考察手指基本功及演奏能力，我們稱為“傳統組”
B組：考察樂曲的表現力及抒情性，我們稱為“表現組”
C組：考察樂曲的多樣性及個性表現，我們稱為“現代組”

A組
拿分要點：
1、正確演繹巴洛克風格，古典風格演奏法；
2、正確的樂句劃分，層次。

1、正確掌握古典時期，浪漫主義時期演奏法；
2、正確的表達音樂的情感，音樂線條的流暢性；
3、對音色，音樂層次有精準的演奏。

C組
拿分要點：
1、正確演繹多種風格樂曲，掌握傳統音樂文化背景；
2、表達近現代的音樂色彩表現鮮明，強弱分明；
3、會出現不規則節拍、出現樂曲速度有轉換，都需要精準按照樂曲要求。
