While appreciating the musical instrument, have you carefully observed the trumpet?

The trumpet is a thin cylindrical tube made of metal, which is enlarged at the 1/4 long end of the instrument tube to form a bell mouth. The instrument has three piston keys. When we performing, we use the index finger, middle finger and ring finger of our right hand to press the piston to play, and the left hand is used to help stabilize the instrument.

When playing, the player needs to put his lips close to the mouthpiece, and then shake his lips to exhale air flow, so that the air flow can vibrate in the tube.

When playing, the water vapour in the air stream will condense into small water droplets at the instrument tube weight, which will make the instrument produce abnormal sounds. Therefore, we need to open the drain button to drain the water droplets from the instrument.

The trumpet has always been loved by everyone because of its unique timbre. Therefore, military bands and wind orchestras all like to have the trumpet. It is precisely because of the existence of the trumpet that the orchestra is always full of passion.

Bass area: Compared with the middle and high tone areas of trumpet, its bass area has a soft and gentle timbre, which can be used for some lyrical and romantic performances, and can express feelings very well. Although this range can also be stressed, it requires the performer to have superb skills.

Midrange: The midrange and treble of the trumpet have strong expressive ability. Although it is not as impassioned as the treble, it is a range with the largest range of changes and the richest emotional color. It can express strong feelings and heroic temperament.

High pitch area: The high pitch area of trumpet is loud, clear and brilliant. Although the volume is not very large, its expression effect is the best.

The trumpet can also be played with a muter to add mystery, which mainly reduces the exhaust volume of the trumpet, thus changing the timbre of the trumpet. The use of microphones in jazz music is more common.
